Cookies and local storage
Updated October 23, 2026
KiteConvert uses very little storage. This page lists everything that may be stored on your device and why.
Strictly necessary
ts-consent (local storage): records your choice about analytics and advertising and the date you made it, so you are not asked again on every page. It is asked again after twelve months.
Preferences
p06:opts:<converter> (local storage): the settings you chose in a converter, such as quality, maximum size, bitrate or page size.
p06:theme (local storage): light or dark theme, if you picked one.
p06:lastPairs (local storage): the last six converters you used, shown on the home page.
They stay on your device and are never sent anywhere. Nothing about your files is ever stored.
Analytics
_ga and _ga_<ID> (cookies, up to 2 years): set by Google Analytics 4 to tell one visit from the next. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland they are set only after you agree. Elsewhere they are set by default until you switch analytics off in the privacy settings.
Advertising
None at present. KiteConvert does not show ads yet, so no advertising cookies are set. If advertising starts, this page will list Google’s cookies before it does.
Changing your choice
Use “Privacy settings” in the footer to change your choice at any time. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.
