How we make this site
Updated October 23, 2026
Every page on KiteConvert is written to answer one practical question: how to get a file into the format, size or shape you need. The converter comes first; the explanation follows.
Facts and sources
Format facts (who defined a format, what it supports, which browsers open it) come from the specifications and from vendors’ documentation; browser support data comes from caniuse.com (CC BY 4.0). Step-by-step guides follow the menu names in Apple’s, Microsoft’s and Google’s own help pages, which each guide links to.
Measurements quoted on pages come from our own benchmark runs on our own test files, and the page names the test set.
Languages
Pages in each language are written for that language’s readers, with the words people actually search and local examples, not translated word for word.
Corrections
If something is wrong or out of date, write to contact@kiteconvert.com. We fix factual errors promptly and update the date on the page.
Independence
There is no sponsored content. Product and company names appear only to describe your situation (for example an iPhone setting); KiteConvert is not affiliated with Apple, Google, Microsoft or any other company named.
